Steam Quake is vanilla Quake.Depending on when the expansion was released, it may or may not work with GLQuake, so the safest engine choice would be 'Quake' (Winquake) when choosing what to launch from Steam. You can copy the necessary command-line options out of the.bat file and put them into the Launch Options in Steam's properties dialog for Quake.If you ever want to try running Malice in a modern Quake engine, I know that quakeone.com has been tested with Malice and should work. Not sure about any Q!Zone stuff.
